but those reports are beginning to die down and Salvatore Trunfio,
president of Mediastar and one of the men responsible for bringing the
player to Europe, has claimed the player's next destination is not Serie
A.
"I don't have an official mandate, since the player is represented by his father," he revealed in an interview with tuttomercatoweb .
"I am in contact with Werder sporting director Klaus Allofs and I'm working with him to find an agreement that is pleasing to the German club."
The press in Italy have constantly announced the desire of both Juventus and Inter to sign the player, but Trunfio admits that the player is unlikely to feature in Serie A next season.
"That Juventus is interested is not a mystery, but as I understand it, the offer from the Bianconeri is below both those of the club and player. In Italy, the only club that could afford him is Inter.
"I think in the end he will not end up in that league. Bayern Munich? I think it's more likely he will move to a Spanish, English, or Russian club," he concluded.
The Brazilian has found the back of the net 19 times in all competitions this season, despite the fact has side have struggled in the Bundesliga.

Cassulo nella scorsa stagione ha giocato nell’Under 14 dell’Alessandria, ma in precedenza era nel settore giovanile del Piacenza calcio, dal prossimo settembre militerà in campionato nella categoria Under 15 A-B con la maglia della Cremonese.
L’Alessandria nella scorsa estate aveva acquisito dal Piacenza a titolo definitivo il diritto alle prestazioni sportive dei calciatori (fratelli) Giovanni e Giacomo Cassulo, rispettivamente classe 2005 e 2008.
Ora Giacomo lascia i grigi per diventare grigiorosso...
